On Board Our Boats, You’ll Find:
Cooking on board is a different experience compared to cooking on land; spaces are limited, and the boat is in constant motion even when moored in port. If you’re new to this, we recommend organizing your groceries to prepare simple and quick dishes that require minimal cooking and preparation.
Often, in hot weather, it’s pleasant to eat tomato salads, cold rice, or pasta salads for lunch, allowing more free time to enjoy the day in a beautiful cove. In the evening, you can dine at a characteristic local restaurant to taste local specialties and enjoy the nightlife.
Recommended dishes certainly include those based on Tropea onions or nduja when on the Calabrian coast, or in the Aeolian Islands/Sicily, caponata, Aeolian-style pasta, ‘cunzato’ bread. Definitely not to be missed are the delicious granitas and ice creams (the mulberry granita with cream is excellent).
